We are aware of an issue where Panopto video assignments are not automatically syncing to Canvas. For a further technical explanation, please visit the Panopto bug report page.
What is affected?
- Panopto assignments accessed on or after June 20, 2026
- Video Quiz scores
- Video Completion (percentage watched) scores
What is not affected?
- Scores that successfully synced before June 20, 2026
- Student quiz and viewing data remain available within Panopto and have not been lost
Current workaround
Faculty may need to enter missing scores manually in the Canvas Gradebook until the issue is resolved. Quiz scores and viewing percentages can still be accessed through Panopto.
