To display announcements on the course Home Page, go to the course menu on the left and click Settings.
On the next page, click the Course Details tab.
Scroll down and click more options.
Check the box next to Show recent announcements on Course home page.
Next, set the number of announcements to display on the home page (optional).
Click Update Course Details found at the bottom of the page to save the changes.
