Jamison Miller is a PhD researcher and Director of Teaching and Learning at Lumen Learning. His doctoral research centers on the transformational potentials of open education in higher ed, specifically how open practices and technologies can transform education into more equitable and democratic forms. At Lumen, Jamison is responsible for helping institutions, faculty, and students with the implementation of open educational resources (OER) in their teaching and learning. These dual roles of research and practice are offering up exciting opportunities for insights into various dimensions of open education in theory, policy, and practice.
